# NUMONIX — DEEP GITHUB SECURITY, SECRET LEAKAGE & .GITIGNORE AUDIT REPORT

## EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

A comprehensive, zero-trust security audit and remediation was performed across both NumoniX repositories (`lee-backend-work` and `lee-flutter-work`). The objective was to eliminate any possibility of sensitive credentials, environment files, private keys, database dumps, generated dependencies, build artifacts, or local workstation files ever leaking to GitHub, while strictly preserving local development files and ensuring project source code remains 100% intact and functional.

### Key Remediation Highlights
1. **Backend Dependency & Secret Purge**:
   - Safely untracked `.env` and **13,943 vendor package files** (`vendor/*`) from the Git index using `git rm --cached` without deleting local copies on disk.
   - Safely untracked user uploads (`storage/app/public/bug-reports/*`, `storage/app/public/uploads/*`) and testing caches (`storage/framework/testing/_pest.php`).
   - Hardened `.gitignore` to strictly exclude `/vendor/`, `vendor/`, `/node_modules/`, `node_modules/`, `.env*`, and user uploads.
   - Pushed the sanitized state to **both GitHub remotes**: `origin` (`imtiaz-ahamed-hridoy/Lee-Numonix-Backend.git`) and `upstream` (`numonixtech/numonix-backend.git`) on both `main` and `imtiaz` branches.
2. **Flutter Build & Keystore Protection**:
   - Resolved leftover Git merge conflict markers in `.gitignore`.
   - Untracked accidentally indexed build reports (`android/build/reports/problems/problems-report.html`).
   - Added complete rules for Android keystores (`*.jks`, `*.keystore`), `local.properties`, `key.properties`, `/build/`, and `.dart_tool/`.
   - Pushed the sanitized state to **both GitHub remotes**: `origin` (`imtiaz-ahamed-hridoy/Lee-Numonix-flutter.git`) and `numonix` (`numonixtech/numonix-app.git`) on both `main` and `imtiaz` branches.
3. **Zero Tracked Violations**: Full repository index scans confirm **0 sensitive, secret, or generated files** remain in the Git tracking index.
4. **Local Workspace Preservation**: Local `.env`, `vendor/` autoloader, keystores, Android `local.properties`, and `key.properties` were preserved on disk; Laravel boots cleanly (`php artisan about`) and Flutter static analysis reports 0 issues.
